Guest guest
I HOPE YOU GUYS LIKE NEWBIES!!! Hi I am , and I am pre-op. I am having my surgery May 4th here in Las Vegas. I am full of all kinds of emotions right now, mostly EXCITED!!! I really dont think I have any clue what I am in for. I am so possitive that I just wont be one the few who things go wrong for that I have a hard time even letting those thoughts into my head. I have not told many people that I am having this surgery because I didnt want to hear all the negitive things, which by the way, mostly come from my girlfriends who are a size 5! They just dont understand. I have been heavy most of my adult life and am so excited about leaving that part of my life behind. The only family members who know I am going to do this is my husband and children. The rest of my family would NOT be supportive, therefore I dont need the " negitive energy " passed my way. I have an appointment on April 29th. The big pro-op appt. where my support person has to attend with me. I am hoping that is where I will get all the info on the what not to do and the do-do's because this far I have NOTTA. I dunno what to eat, what not to eat, how to eat, what vitamins. I am right about 250 now, and am really curious how the heck my skin is going to act. I know people die from this, but I jut dont feel like this is anything but the right thing for me to do. Well guys, I wont bore you anymore, but I sure would like some advice, and some stories on what you went through. and the one big question, Having to do it all over again, whoud you still? Thanks so much.
Guest guest
HI , My name is and we are surgery date buddies. I have been having awful butterflies in my stomach the last few days. I am also a bit more emotional. I hold it back though so I don't look like a complete basket case..lol My pre-op is the day before and that is when I get the ultra sound of my gallbladder. I wish you the best of luck and hope to hear all about your post-op details. Guest guest
<<Hi I am , and I am pre-op. I am having my surgery May 4th here in Las Vegas. It's not something you want to rush into. My girlfriend rushed into it and was in a deep depression until recently because she regretted it and hated herself for doing it. She is now 6 months out and is just now starting to follow the rules and take care of herself. I do not want to see you rush into it not knowing all there is to know. I researched this surgery for 1 1/2-2 years before I had surgery. I have no regrets and would do it again in a second. Best wishes to you!
