Guest guest
Sridevi Kolla is my doc. She's a young, and quite willing to work WITH the patient, instead of demonstrating that " I know everything, I am God, you are just the patient " attitude that some show. She's at the location at Homestead and Lawrence. Not only that, but she's nice! Guest guest
Hi - My PCP is Dr. Rezvani. I had no problems discussing gastric bypass with her and she helped me though the referral process smoothly. I would recommend her to anyone. Good Luck, Lori
Guest guest
I too have Dr. Rezvani for my PCP and she is great but unfortunately she isn't taking on new patients at this time (I saw her about a week ago and that was the status) Good Luck > > Hi - > > My PCP is Dr. Rezvani. Guest guest
, I go to Santa Clara and both my PCP and my OB/GYN are bypass- friendly. My PCP is Dr. Maureen Pavy, and my OB is Dr. Young. If you try to get in to see Dr. Pavy, you'll have to bring up the subject of gastric bypass - she won't suggest it to you - but if you're well-informed about the surgery and have the necessary conditions to warrant it, she'll recommend you for it. Just make sure when you talk to her that you let her know your history of weight loss efforts and that you're not looking at this as an " easy fix " . I was ok, since I've been seeing her for years and she knew what I'd done before, but if you're new to Kaiser you'll have to talk to whoever you see. You will meet a lot of people who have already had surgery, and also many who are still waiting. The meeting is the first Wednesday of every month, so your timing is perfect! We will be meeting this coming Wednesday, May 3, at Kaiser Santa Clara. We meet in Bldg. K, on the old Kaiser campus on Kiely Ave. The meeting starts at 6:00pm, and goes to about 7:30. The usual facilitator is Beth Goodridge, the nutritionist/dietician from SSF. She is on maternity leave right now, and may or may not be there. In her absence, I and another person run the group. If you live near by, you may also want to go to the Santa Bariatric Support Group, which meets on the third Wednesday of every month. That meeting is in the Medical Office Building (MOB), 275 Hospital Parkway, San . Doors open at 6:00, and meeting starts at 6:30. Both meetings are very informative and supportive, and follow the Kaiser protocol. If you have any other questions about the meetings, you can email me. Hope to see you there.
