Why is Chat not available in Yahoo! Groups?

Due to our ongoing efforts to enhance the user experience, Java-based chat is no longer available for Yahoo! Groups. We are focusing on improvements to this service using the latest Yahoo! Messenger chat technology, which the majority of our users prefer and is available today

If you want to complain to Yahoo about not having the use of the Chat Room here is the link again.
