I used Bette Hagman's first flour blend and xanthan gum, and the recipe on the bag of chocolate chips. It's a different story when you add other diet limitations to just gfcf, though. Now that I am trying to avoid hydrogenated fats, and limit soy and eggs, baking takes a lot more ingenuity! I can make a decent ginger cookie without eggs or hydrogenated fats; rice krispie treats, and a few others. But I am suffering from Bakers Burnout...keep preheating the oven, just to turn it off a couple of hours later when I still haven't gotten around to baking anything LOL Lorilyn Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
