I don't really know anything about what can be compounded, but I would think you could call a compounding pharmacy and ask. Then you could get your doctor to specifically prescribe a compounded form of the medication without the ingredients you need to avoid. Then see if Medicaid or whatever insurance you have that covers medication will cover this, since it was specifically prescribed as a pecial need. If you have to pay out-of-pocket, it will surely be quite a bit more expensive than the over-the-counter or standard prescribed medication. This is what I understand from talking to my pharmacist.
