Dear group. As a lurker mainly, I will tell you all that I had lap

rny on 11/02/01 and am doing well, down 112 lbs. which is great for

me. I started out at 286. I am healthy, that's the main thing. No

interested in any additional cosmetic surgery as long as I was able

to get off all my meds. I did this for my health. So I go to the

annual convention that lasted three days and I drank beer, like it

was the old days. Man, it was fun while it lasted. But now that I'm

home, I am SICK, not hangover sick, but pouch sick. I have this pain

below my breastbone, yet above my navel. I can eat very little but

then when I do, it doesn't want to go thru its course and is very

painful. Actually, I think it's trapped gas or something. I've

tried everything from mylanta, tums, gingle ale, not eating, even

went out a bought some ginger ale. Oh, and I also drank a cup of

super dieter's tea, which will clean you out when nothing else

works. Anyone ever feel like this before? Yeah, I know I shouldn't

have drank that beer. Believe me when I tell you that I don't forsee

downing six Corona's anywhere in my near future. Thanks. All

feedback is appreciated. How long do you think I should let this go

on before I seek medical attention? My surgeon is seven hours away,

but I could go to the local e.r., where I know they perform the

gastric bypass.

Hope you're feeling better by now, Maxine. Live and learn, right?
