Guest guest
Lee, Congratulations. I think switching to the regular doc after a year is fine. You just have to make sure they run the proper labs at *least* annually. Always save your labs and compare them so that you can see trends before they become problems, iron in particular. And, for me, it takes a lot more than a year for the body image to catch up with the body. For me, it's been between 4-5 years where I expect to see someone trim when I look in the mirror. in Austin RNY April 1998 Hello... Guest guest
Weight off or on is not a requirement here. Only time. None of us adapt instantly to the new body. I was looking at the pix took last night & still wondering who was wearing my clothes. And I've been this wt for 8 yrs. I was only morbid for 5. ??? We have follow-up for life. Monthly til goal, then 6 months, then annually. But they want labs every 3 months. Thanks, Vitalady, Inc.
