They take chicken and water and cook them (nothing added). They take the liquid portion, filter it (remove bones, etc) and spray dry it. They ship it dried and we add water to rehydrate it. It is gluten free also. I wouldn't trust it. Spray-dried stuff can frequently have illegals used as free flowing agents. I found some dried tomato powder once which the manufacturers insisted was 100% tomato... but when pressed, they admited the presence of the maltodextrin. Which they assured me would have no effect.... — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
Guest guest
Has anyone read about a problem with feathers on the chicken with this brand of frozen chicken? Someone blogged on it for the Houston Chronicle. I think I'd die...not really but fresh is better if you have a 'local to your state'. Sprayed on stuff ;-). I'd pass. The meat section usually has huge packs of wings you can separate and freeze. Debbie 40 cd houston On Wed, Feb 24, 2010 at 8:30 PM, Wizop Marilyn L.
