If we had it done elsewhere maybe that wouldnt have happened? Just a guess.....I noticed on my surgical report that a Dr Maccabee was assisting.....wonder if that means Welker did the surgery? On another paper that says " pursuant to federal medicare billing regulations, I certify that I was PRESENT for the entire surgical procedure " .......so that could go either way. He could have done it himself or Maccabee did it while he supervised. Judie>>>> +++=================================================================== Hi All, I believe Mt Sinai is a teaching hospital also, so one of my 1st questions to Dr. Gagner was to ensure that he himself performs all phases of the surgery. He assured me that, although he has many assistants, which are needed to perform the procedure smoothly, he alone would be performing the surgery. I also made sure that if he was unavailable at the last minute due to an emergency, no one else would be able to complete the surgery. All good questions to ask at your 1st consult. take Care, denise in ny 12 days and counting... sept 10th dr gagner _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp
