RE: Ruffles brand Potato Chips

Frito Lay wishes to notify Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network members

that

they have initiated an allergy alert and voluntary recall of a

limited

number of 12 1/4 oz. packages of Ruffles brand Potato Chips with a

manufacturing code of 411220770 and a code date of Sep 25 printed in

the

upper right quadrant of the front of the bag.

A limited quantity of 12 1/4 oz. Ruffles brand Potato Chips packages,

distributed in the Midwest, contain Cheddar and Sour Cream Ruffles

brand

Potato Chips. This product is being recalled because we realize

dairy

products may cause a serious allergic reaction in some people.

Consumers who have a 12 1/4 oz. package of Ruffles brand Potato Chips

with

a manufacturing code of 411220770 and a code date of Sep 25 printed

in

the

upper right quadrant of the front of the bag should call Frito Lay at

1- for a replacement coupon. This mailing is being

funded

Frito Lay to be sure you are aware of this situation.
