Wanda I work with someone that was a smoker that quit

so if that is something you worry about...try not to.

Yes, YOU can do ALL things through Christ that

strengthens you. When things get a little hard, lean

on those exact words and allow your faith to carry you

through.

Hopefully is reading and will chime in and offer

you some advice on how she did it. She smoked for

many years...I am not sure but it was something close

to 20 years and when she stopped it was almost like

cold turkey.

So , if you read, please chime in at anytime.

Be encouraged Wanda.

Wanda, I do understand as once upon a time I smoked.

I just got tired of it. I got tired of smelling like

smoke and one day I just decided that I was no longer

going to do it. As a matter of fact, I did not want

to do it. That is what helped me just quit.

So, do I know how hard it is...yes. I watched my 60

year old father (step father) die from emphazema

(spelling) and so even with knowing he was dying, he

could not stop. I mean right at the end, he had to

because of the oxygen so I do know how hard it is.

Its like any addiction, you have to be ready to quit

and not stop. When you are ready to quit, you will.

I wish you well Wanda and never give up. You can do

this. Many have gone before you and you and so I know

you can do it. Just believe that you can. You are

definitely not alone.
