One thing I noticed is that they sell the " clear " protein that comes in the Isopure drinks in bulk.. this stuff could definitely pass for flavorless, especially in something like V-8 juice, iced coffee, applesauce, peanut butter.. anything with a strong base flavor, in other words. I'm going to buy a pound of just that protein, then try it out.. I did use the sample that was enclosed with my isopure to mix with limeaide, & I don't remember tasting it.. This might be a good " fix " for your protein woes. The website for that protein is: http://www.proteinfactory.com/microfiltration.htm Another possible solution is this one: Have you seen the bottled carb Solutions drinks? Do you like iced coffee? I find the drinks themselves waay too sweet (sweetened w/splenda, BTW), but I take instant decaf coffee, make it doublestrength in a small amount of hot water, add the carb soloutions drink, then add cream to taste, plus ice. Each bottle is 20 grams of protein, & they don't have that nasty protein aftertaste.. 2 to 3 " iced coffees " a day would be more than plenty to get in your protein needs. I use the mocha & cappuchino ones.. have not tried the vanilla, but hey- to each his own, right? Plus, I think you could buy a single bottle (not sure, tho) and see if you liked it before investing in a 4-pack. Its an idea.. I know how frustrating it is to not get enough protein.. I'm there, too.. A last idea might be this: the liquid predigested protein is 15 grams to 2 tablespoons.. that would be about 6 " 0 " capsules.. if you can stand the idea of more pills.. and you absorb 100% of the predigested stuff, so you get every gram. Hope one of these appeals.. Hugs, Liane
Guest guest
Liane, Where can you get this bottled carb Solutions? I like my protien shake, Pro-Complex, but variety would be nice.
