Hi all,

(age 8 weeks) is set to go into the FAB next week after serial

casting. I have heard that old navy socks are the best for wearing

with the shoes. What type of socks should I look for specifically?

What is special about them? I need to buy some to be prepared.

Thanks!

Hi Carole,

Old navy are good cause they are less expensive than baby Gap socks and

are basically the same thing =) We also use socks from The Children's

Place which are longer and a touch thicker, good for winter wear.

These socks are a nice light cotton blend with a really tight weave,

they come in tons of colors and wash well, you can use them forever.

They also have grippers on the bottom which helps the feet not to move

in the shoes. We love them and have at least 20 pairs. Grace wears the

12-24 mo size now but with her brace, I can still use the 6-12 mo

socks. Just a tip, don't buy too many pairs of the 0-3 mos as she will

be able to wear the 6-12 very soon.

HTH and congrats on getting to this point of 's treatment!

& Grace
