Guest guest
can anyone who was large breasted pre-op tell me about the effects of weight loss on your breasts? Mine are large and hangin' already. What can I expect them to look like post-op? Should I expect a reduction and lift in the future? -jen pre-op

Guest guest
Hi Jen: The following info is stuff I've been told by the post-op DS gals I know. > can anyone who was large breasted pre-op > tell me about the effects of weight loss > on your breasts? Mine are large and hangin' > already. What can I expect them to look > like post-op? I'd say quite a bit hangier. (Hey! I just made up a word!) > Should I expect a reduction and lift in the future? Probably something you should think about, especially if you are short -- I've been told it really hurts when you step on them, plus you can trip and hurt yourself falling down. Guest guest
I had lunch with a fellow WLS patient Friday, who called her rapidly shrinking chest configuration " Socks with Rocks " . LOL And don't I know just how she feels! I'm now wearing a size 36D but require an industrial strength bra. Without it I'm in real danger of getting a nipple caught in the zipper of my jeans. Gotta be careful getting dressed. No doubt there's a plastic surgeon somewhere in my future. Matter of fact, I'm already consulting with one. But I won't be getting serious about the topic till next spring or summer, since I'm only 13.5 months post-op right now. And still 6 pounds from goal! LOL But talking about bras, has anyone tried Bali Double Support... they are the best I have found and not to uncomfortable. I was a 44DD, now a 40 DD and with clothes on no one can tell my nips tickle my hopefully soon to be gone belly button! 4/12/

Guest guest
The breasts don't tend to shrink (enough) no matter how much you lose or how tight your skin. I wear Aviana Bra's. They are a bit hard to find but they offer the best support that I have ever found in a bra. And as a person who fills out an H cup no matter how much weight I lose they are a godsend. They don't lose their shape and they don't leave bruises on your shoulders. They are a bit on the expensive side about $40. I have found them on Ebay for as little as $15. These bra's are indestructable and can survive a washing machine. > can anyone who was large breasted pre-op tell me about the effects of weight > loss on your breasts?
