Guest guest
I understand your reasoning behind this. However, as one of the newer gfcfers, I appreciate the feedback from several people. I like the different opinions and ideas on subjects. When I first looked at this website, I was overwhelmed(who wasn't?!)and I felt comfortable seeing other new ppl asking equally " obvious " questions. I also don't know if I would have taken the time to look for a FAQ section. If I saw it, I would probably think it was just like the FAQ on gfcfdiet.com(I think that's the site I am thinking of...) Plus, I think one of the purposes of this site is to help new people, like me, recieve personalized guidance from the many people who have been there, done that. I like this site bc it feels personal in that sense. Talk to me in a year or so, though.....(ie I understand your frustration) Janelle Jane 2 1/2 PDD-NOS 13 mos NT
Guest guest
Plus, can't we go to Archives to find more specific info? Again, though, I still feel so overwhelmed and unsure of what I am doing, that I would prefer direct responses from several people. Do you have any idea how many times I ran to this computer to ask a question during my first few weeks! :-) This group was and is a lifesaver to those starting out-ME! I agree...I am new here and although a FAQ section would save time I thought the purpose of this website was to assist others in answereing questions and providing friendship in a difficult time. If everything is changed so the *old timers* can chat and we *newbies* have to search on a FAQ sheet...you may lose alot of potential chatters! Guest guest
There is a very large FAQ being worked on right now headed by n Klaveness. It will be very extensive when it is finished. Many people have been involved in the making of this FAQ. It's foundation is the original FAQ that Karyn Seroussi wrote, you can view this at http://www.gfcfdiet.com/FAQKarynSeroussi.htm. I believe the new FAQ is almost complete, if n sees this e-mail I'm sure he will be able to answer further. Cara > Would it be possible to add a section for the most FAQs and their > answers? This would save alot of time on the site.
