Hi Sue, Thanks for responding. I really hope things speed up. It is so hard to wait. How much weight were you told you needed to lose? I will call my pcp tomorrow to see if report from nutrition class has arrived. I'm jealous!! But mine will come soon I'm sure. When was your orientation and what was it like? I am so excited for you. I was told I would probably go to Fremont, so things could be different there too. Who knows. I just am anxious to be able to start losing this 10% and get the show on the road. Let me know how you are doing in the 1200 cal. Hi ,After I was accepted into Richmond's Bariaatric Program (accepted into program the same day my PCP sent in the referral then notified via phone call

from the Bariatric Dept 4 days later confirming my acceptance), I had Orientation 8.5 weeks later. At approx 7 weeks after acceptance I received a call to schedule Orientation (those 7 weeks seemed like forever!)Next Steps for me are: Wait for the mandatory Nutrition class to be scheduled (we were told that this is usually scheduled for approx 4 weeks after Orientation) then approx 2 weeks after the Nutrition Class I should have a Surgery consult appointment with the surgeon.I just started the recommended 1200 calorie plan today and now just patiently waiting for the next two appointment.I hope this helps!Sue from Vacaville>> Sue, How long did you have to wait for your orientation app.? What happens at orientation.I already have my appointment for nutritionI wish there was some one in modesto in pre /op maybe I'll meet some one at the nutrition class.
