I am sure that you will get TONS of responses, but in the links

section of this group, the web addresses for both are listed. The

Markell Shoe site is: http://www.markellshoe.com

These shoes are boot-tyoe shoes that come in different designs,

depending on what your doctor perscribes. They have straight last

shoes, which look like they don't have a defined toe section, and

reserve last (which my daughter used to wear), which look like the

shoes are on the wrong feet. They are attached to a bar (often

called

a DBB or Denis Browne Bar) that keeps the feet seperated and at the

correct degree/angle.

The s (sometimes referred to as P/M) are a sandal-type shoes

where the insides are molded to the shape of each child's foot.

These

shoes are also attached to a bar to hold the correction to reduce

the

chance of regression. The site for these is

http://www.mdorthopaedics.com/

Some babies are able to toloerate the Markells without problems.

However, some just have an awful time adjusting to them. The leather

tends to be stiff and difficult to get into (this was our

experience,

but then again, others have had no problem).

Hope this helps!
