Adjustable bar or flat bar???

Right now Mason has the Markell shoes with the 7 " flat bar and he is

doing well with them. However, I'm wondering if I should order the

adjustable bar with his next pair of shoes. That way I won't have to

keep buying a new bar as he grows.....any opinions? Is the adjustable

bar harder to get on and off?
