Guest guest
I think the docs just have no experience fitting or putting on shoes so they have no good advice to offer. Although I love our ortho and I know he cares about , I would be so lost without this group of moms who have " been there, done that " . Carol Heel Blister I have the tips document - WHAT A HUGE HELP THAT IS! I believe I may have finally figured out how to get those shoes on properly by dorsiflexing the foot while pressing it into the shoe. Why in the world my doctor never thought it was important enough to tell me this is beyond me. If it weren't for this message board I would be lost! We have a smallish heel blister that I put some of the lansinoh on as suggested - with a small piece of gauze and tape over it. It can heal with no air getting to it? Or do I need to do the bandaid with cut- out hole thing? Thanks again to all of you! You are all blessings to me! Guest guest
, I personally like the slick bandaid with the hole cut out. It lets the blister have some air, but keeps the pressure off of it somewhat. However, you are the one looking at the blister everyday. If the gauze and tape work that is good also. Be very watchful that what ever you put on it is smooth and doesn't wrinkle when you put the shoes on. Wrinkles can cause problems, just like wrinkles in the sock do. Lanisoh is still the best, I think. Mom to Tenny 7/15/04 rt. cf. FAB 14/7 Heel Blister I have the tips document - WHAT A HUGE HELP THAT IS!
