Guest guest
are there any post-ops (i'm 7 months out) having problems with eating more than usual these days? is it due to the stress of all that's going on or what? even my husband said something and he has never done that (pre or post-op). i guess i'm resorting back to old habits. peace, TJ lap ds 2/16/
Guest guest
Pretty normal, TJ.....at about 6 months I started eating alot more. I still do and the weight still came off up to 10 months. Its slowed way down now. Dr Welker said that the satiety we felt after surgery begins to wear off at around 9-15 months and its the first 6 months after surgery that is important in making sure we have good eating habits and choices. The reason for the increase in food is normal and allows for us to eat more to prevent us from losing too much weight.....in other words it happens as we get closer to goal as if by magic to stop where it should. Hope this helps..... Judie
