Guest guest
I just recevied 's new pair today and wanted to ask you a question: What do you use to punch the holes on the strap? This new pair she got seem to have the holes a little bit further apart. Sorry I was of no help to you, and BL CF 12/16/03 littleman1013 wrote: And apparently there's a learning curve or I'm not too bright!! lol Or both... I can't seem to get 's chubby little feet into the shoes without the heel pulling WAY up. I can actually stick my little finger between his heel and the shoe bottom and feel him lift his heel up. I know I will need to punch a hole in the toe strap since it's well past the last hole to be snug on his toesies. I called and he explained a little of what to do, but I just can't seem to get it right. Kori--any suggestions since you've been in them a while now? Anyone else out there with chubby little feet (since Darbi's feet are probably more human- like!! lol) that knows the tricks of the trade with the s? Help!! :-) Stacee
Guest guest
My little guy just started wesring the s this last Monday. The heel on both his feet (he has a LCF) are still not all the way down - no matter how hard I try. I've seen it posted on here that it can take up to about a week for the heel to finally come down in the shoe. Someone please jump in if I'm wrong. > > And apparently there's a learning curve or I'm not too bright!! lol Or both... > > I can't seem to get 's chubby little feet into the shoes without the heel pulling WAY > up. Guest guest
That's sort of what said, too... however we've got A LOT of play with his heel--it lifts way up... much more than I would think is ok, but I just don't know. -- I'm not sure what I'll use... Probably go to s or Joann or something and try to find a cheap leather punch. Kori has posted in the past on how to do this, I just haven't looked yet. Guest guest
I remember when Evy got his first pair (about 2 months old), there is that ventilation hole on each side of the heel and I could put a pencil in one hole and out the other - there was that much extra room. They really didn't seem to fit at all, but it wasn't long until it all came together. I dunno what else to say except bend his knee as you put the shoe on him and then buckle that center strap first, as tight as it'll go. Maybe trim the tongue so there's no excess material getting in the way of holding it all snug. s. So the s are in hand... And apparently there's a learning curve or I'm not too bright!! lol Or both... I can't seem to get 's chubby little feet into the shoes without the heel pulling WAY up. Guest guest
Everett is learning how to use the buckles on his 's and I fear he soon will be removing them himself...yikes! Glad you're having good luck with your FAB now! s.
