Just a side note, Kaiser Fremont DOES tell us at 3-6

months post op to take Pre Natal vites. It varries

from site to site I guess, what they want you to take.

Dama,

The High Potency Vitamins costs if I am not badly mistaken 14.95 and it last a couple of months. I also get the Calcium Citrate there also. In the message Laurie posted she said 150 mg and it should be 1500 mg is the daily recommended amount for us. The one at Kaiser is good also as long as you are referring to the Bariatric Advantage. That one is chewable. I like the cinnamon flavor but it is a bit chalky.

Dama, I don't really do what Kaiser recommends. I

pretty much do what Vitalady recommends. This is my

choice and I'm not pushing it on anyone else. If you

want to what your doctor recommends, then that's

exactly what you should do. Fremont Kaiser says 150

mg calcium citrate, I think, they prescribed iron for

me and I am to take one a day, the two prenatals like

I mentioned, sublingual B12 twice a week. They give

you an order form for Bariatric advantage stuff, so

you can order it and have it shipped, or you can buy

it from the Kaiser pharmacy where your surgery was

done. They have everything Kaiser recommends.

As far as protein goes, I like the mango peach

Zerocarb Isopure. It is from GNC and is very pricy.

i did get tired of it and don't drink it anymore, but

probably will again someday. My favorites now are

Pure Whey Stack in chocolate, banana, and Cookies 'n

Cream. Yum!

Food for thought, Dama. Hope you find something

useful here.

Laurie :)

Me again, Dama. I forgot to address the question of

when I take what. I do B12 first thing out of bed.

It's too important to forget. Kaiser says twice a

week, but I do one every day. Before breakfast I take

my multi and my calcium (and the other things I take).

Before lunch I do another round of calcium. I do

iron with a vitamin C before bed. Ramona is right,

iron and calcium need to be taken apart from

eachother. That's the only thing you really need to

think about when deciding what kind of vitamin

schedule will work for you. Protein shakes...I do

them whenever I have the urge. I do them if I'm

craving something sweet. I do them if I'm hungry and

don't think I should be. I looooove them. I told

someone here before that i could live on popcorn and

protein shakes. LOL Actually, I usually drink two a

day.

Good luck! <<<slurp>>>
