beth, I am attempting to follow a high protein low carb program. I even

brought a book for some insight. I will pass on interesting points.

Steve --magnesium supplements seem to help keep calcium kidney stones from

coming back. all you need is 100 to 300 mg a day. The magnesium seems to help

more if you also take 10 mg a day of pyridoxine(vit B6). talk to your doc.

Thanks. The chemical analysis just came back yesterday. All my

stones, even those in past years, were 100% uric acid. --Steve

Steve,

I am sitting at my desk at work and I am looking at a bottle of Cal-Mal Plus

Supplements, which is a Calcium-Magnesium supplement. Where I work we have a

nutritionist on staff and she suggested I take these because they are more

absorable. They are a bit expensive. The name of the company is " Standard

Process Inc. " If you have any questions please let me know.
