I know they say growing pains aren't real, but do you think he could be in a

growth spurt? This could effect his clubfoot differently. Sorry, I don't have

much advice.

Hi ,

I recently mentioned to Dr. Morcuende that Emma had some pain. His advice

was to see a doctor if it persisted beyond 10 days.

Does Christian complain about it during certain activities? Does he walk/run

around without complaint? Is he able to pinpoint where the pain is or is it

the whole foot in general?

Is it possible his bar needs to be adjusted? With the clubfoot shoe angled

at 70° it may make more of a difference than on the non-clubfoot shoe.

Regardless of what " They " say, I know my growing pains as a child were VERY

real!

Well, he points to the top of his foot near the ankle when he is crying

about it. It appears to go away or subside with Tylenol but he does bring

it to my attention at least 2-3 times a day. Usually it occurs after he is

running for a long time.

I don’t remember growing pains but I know a lot of friends that tell me

about there kids having them and they did so I am sure they are real. Maybe

the bar does need to come back from the 70 degrees a little or …

I was thinking today that maybe this had something to do with the reasons

why he needs the tendon transfer…I don’t know. If it gets worse I will call

Dr. Herzenberg otherwise we go back to him in a month and a ½.

Thanks for you help everyone.

Is it where the strap of the shoe fastens? Could his foot be getting wider or

bigger, so you need to loosen the notch? 's foot gets a little red there

sometimes. He is still to little to tell me if it hurts.
