Guest guest
Could he be teething? Just a thought especially if the shoes are not bothering him during the day or during his naps? He's right about that age when the first teeth start to cut! Check his gums and see if you feel any " buds " . For our son, his teething pain was worse at night and would disrupt his sleep. Guest guest
We had this problem when was Austin's age because he wasn't as mobile, and he especially had a hard time when he was sleeping. Does he like to sleep on his side? liked this, so we would prop his legs with a blanket, so they weren't just hanging in the air. Does he roll with is brace on yet? When he is able to do this sleeping should get easier for him. HTH a little, 11/19/04 jones_reid wrote: Hi- Austin is having trouble sleeping at night. Guest guest
i don't know if its the same for the brace as the casts but it says in the ponseti management book to lay the casts on a pillow when on the back. i've found that ollie prefers this when on his back with his dbb. just a thought. the theory behind it with the casts is the pressure point would be on one/two spots of the leg, causing irretation/pain. so could this theory be applied to the brace as well? and this could be why he wants his feet up?? haz of lincoln, uk
Guest guest
Reid, Have you checked bar length? Is he getting tangled in the covers? Bar length usually causes night waking, so check that for sure. Kori At 07:37 AM 1/30/2006, you wrote: >Hi- Austin is having trouble sleeping at night. Guest guest
: He likes to sleep on his side as well. He can roll a little bit with the brace on. Yea, we probably need to prop his legs so they just are hanging there... I don't know how he does it!! My legs would get tired!!
