Guest guest
One of my children [not my autistic son but another of my kids] has severe excema with the same food intolerances and allergies as my autistic son. > > 1. gave him orange juice with calcium (may have been > his first time having OJ, my DH cant remember if he > has given it to him before, and I know I haven't) The orange juice would have set my son's excema really bad. > 3. had a Soy Shake (vanilla almond flavor) > that he had never had before but which I confirmed > with the company is GFCF The almond flavor would have set him badly also. > > This child is a juice child. I would recommend pear juice for you [altho my son is also set off by pears, but most kids I think tolerate it okay]. Does your child have phenol issues? If not, you can try the orange flavored drinks that have no OJ, like gatorade or whatever is on the gfcf list [i have not checked the list so I don't know for sure what is gfcf]. > calcium, so what does that leave for drinks and for > calcium? HELP!!!! My son drinks ice water [if it does not have ice that he can hear in it, he does not want it LOL]. For calcium, I buy Solaray brand cal/mag supplement and bake it into his pancakes.
