Guest guest
, we had our water tested......best dam_ water you ever saw! No need for chlorine pump or anything else, just hight in iron and contains all the minerals. We sit on the largest aquifer west of the mississippi 3000 feet up! No cows or farm animals within 5 miles of us. We are amazed at the very good quality of the water here but I drink bottled water sometimes for the convienence LOL Judie

Guest guest
Deanna, thank you for this information on chlorine! I had suspected for a long time there was a connection between stomach problems and colon cancer etc and have avoided drinking chlorinated water for the last 5 years. Guest guest
Dear i, I test and fix water for a living. Bottled water is best if is is R.O.Water or purified water. Aquafina is an example. Spring water still has all the hardness and minerals in it that are " heavy. " A Brita or Pur will only take out part of the hardness and most of the chlorine. And if you are going to use one change the filter ALOT! If you live in an area with very hard water you are probably better off with bottled water or buying a reverse osmosis drinking water station. Do I have you confused yet? LOL Deanna 300lbs bmi 50 day of surgery 02-15-01 195lbs. bmi 31 as I sit here now! Guest guest
Sheryl, You hit the nail on the head with Chlorine. American Medical Association said 10,700 cases of colon and rectal cancer occurred last year from the chlorine level in water. It is NOT a good thing on a fresh cut tummy or on any tummy for the matter. Where I live there is twice the legal limit of for a swimming pool in what we are suppose to drink! YUCK! Guest guest
Hi, There are three kind of iron in the world. Hard iron core iron which is the type found on car bumpers, colloidal bacteria iron and suspended iron. A Brita will filter out " small " amounts on the first type. And none of the other two. This type is inert. Just like the other minerals found naturally in water. Anything inert our body can draw nothing from. It would be like taking a bite from your car bumper! LOL The other two types of iron can be tough on the body. The colloidal bacterial iron feeds on the suspended type and makes a black ring form in the back of toilets and etc. It can give anyone diarrhea and stomach cramps. Not to mention the black rings are tough to clean.I am certified by the American Water Quality Association as well perk specialist. Not much about water I can't tell you! But than it pays my bills every month! LOL Deanna 300lbs bmi 50 day of surgery 02-15-01 195lbs. bmi 31 as I sit here now! Guest guest
The iron itself isn't black it is orange. But when the colloidal bacteria feeds on it and it becomes colloidal bacterial iron that it leaves a black ring around the inside of the toilet tank and often in pitchers in the fridge and such when you go away on vacation.
