Guest guest
Kathy - DEEP breathing helped me a lot right before surgery. And, talking to everyone here for support -- lean on us as much as ya want. As for the pain, I found it very manageable. The worst was the first time I got up from the bed to walk -- and it got easier each time. I had a c-section and I would rate the pain about equal. Guest guest
Kathy, YOur anxiety is very normal. You're about to make a major change in your life! Don't even think that it won't work. There's no way it can't. YOu will lose weight and feel so much better. As for the pain, they will give you the morphine pump that you control yourself if you need it. When you go home if you need them they will give you pain meds. I had lap DS and never used the pump or any pain meds after I got home.
