Guest guest
I heartily agree with you on the " stoma issue " and I'm sure there are many others who also do. The more info that gets out, the more successful the surgery will become. Barbara Jean NEW TO HERE! > Hi everyone! > > I'll be two years out this August 30th. I have dropped from 315 to > 160 pounds. Guest guest
Hi Robin, Welcome to the OSSG Graduate Board. I have been on here for a while but rarely post. I have gotten a lot of good information here. You know me from Spotlight Health. I will be 2 years out 10/25/01 and am 5 pounds below my goal. Since April I have been able to lose an additional 5 pounds, going from 140 to 135 pounds and 105 pounds lost. I have been reading about stretched stomas and wonder how many people this happens to and at what point postop? What percentage of gastric bypass patients have this occur? I know of someone whose surgery was around the same date as mine who has been gaining weight and I think she mentioned that her stoma stretched. It is an interesting topic!
