Guest guest
, I had my tummy tuck on April 19th and my navel is fine. I do know that some people had a tummy tuck and for whatever reason, they no longer had a navel post surgery. I am not sure of the reasons but I just thought I would tell you that there are some people who have the procedure and end up without a navel or belly button as you all it (smile). Guest guest
I reached one year on Feb 8, 2006. So it was two months...well two months and half. I paid and it was $11,700.00 for my tummy tuck with tightening of the muscles and the breast lift with implants. Guest guest
, I'm really not sure about the mesh my plastic surgeon just said if they used the mesh that it could kill my belly button off. Yes Kaiser did repair my hernia at the time of my RNY but I'm not sure of how they repaired it. The hernia needs to be fixed either way so the tummy tuck is a good time to fix it. I'm hoping for the best outcome from this surg. I really trust Dr. Green will do his best for me. I'll keep you posted on the outcome. "seren.dipity2b" wrote: Rose--You were talking about plastic surgery. Could you explain what you meant about mesh, and healing, and belly button dying off. Yikes! Did Kaiser not repair your hernia when the did your RNY? I have heard that sometimes they do. Now that you are having the tummy tuck, are they putting mesh in to repair the hernia at the same time? Are you saying that by doing this you risk losing your belly button just by having the tummy tuck? What's worse, a hernia or no belly button? Yikes!>> Dr. Green is off Scripps Drive in Sacramento. Kaiser will repair the hernia but they will not pay for any cosmetic surg unless your apron is causing problems or hangs way too low. Be causious if you get your hernia repaired thats the problem that I'm running into right now. Dr. Green says if Kaiser used mesh when they repaired my hernia at the time of my WLS then my belly button might die off. Lets hope that doesn't happen. He is going to do everything he can to save it of course. I will find out next week more info. My surg is next wends the 31st. > Rose> > Love cheap thrills?
