So the only reason my stoma would get bigger after the swelling went down would be a mechanical problem. Each of our surgeries are different so what applies to me obviously doesnot apply to you. According to Dr. Oh, it's a combination of not small enuf to begin with, plus the natural tendency of the stoma to relax over time.
