Guest guest
Well, I was " eating " them maybe in my second or third week - my surgeon had cleared me to do soft no-chew, so we went to a British style pub for lunch. I thoroughly soaked fish & chips in vinegar and mashed the fries up with a fork. No chewing, but it was wonderful just to mush them up against the roof of my mouth for taste. Cheryl (checsmia) was the one here who told me that fish would probably be the easiest thing to start back on, so that's why I ordered fish & chips. You can peel back the batter and mush bits of fish on your fork. Only problem I had is more food ended up between my cheeks and teeth than down my throat : < > > How long post op did it take most of y'all to eat french fries?
