Hey! I can't beleive you're still on here helping others! You're the

best!! Me? I drifted away from the board a while after I got my

braces off. I'm sticking out my hand, you all can slap it if you

want. I know, bad girl....but it was such a focus of my life for a

while that my brain needed a break. And to those of you going

through this now - yes, there WILL come a time when you don't think

about your jaw or mouth anymore. Anyway Cammie, I've relapsed a bit

again but not enough to make me regret having it done a 3rd time

(yep, newbies, a three timer here!)so... as long as it doesn't get

worse I'll be happy. It really sucks to not have it absolutely

PERFECT after all I've been through but in the back of my mind I

never really expected it to stay put 100%. I'm normally a very

positive and optimistic person but to think that way would've just

set me up for extreme disappointment. I'm still wearing the

retainers which sometimes I feel fit well, others not so well...and

I guess I'm due for some follow ups with ortho and surgeon just to

adjust retainers and check things out so I'll try to find time to

update on that when it happens. In the meantime I've been recovering

from ear surgery to get rid of a cholesteatoma - I was checking if

there was a board on that and thought I'd pop in here while I was at

it. Let me tell ya, ear surgery is MUCH better. Shoot, this has been

NOTHING compared to all that. I really feel for all of you going

through this! And if you are wondering why I addressed this to

Cammie it's because she's the only name I still recognized here

(unless I missed someone in which case I'm so sorry)

Hope you're well,

Neta-lee

Hi Cammie!

No, haven't been cruising for a while, at least not as work, but I

have been doing OK with the TV jobs. Was working on Ellen's talk

show, then went to Vegas for another talk show for 6 months, then

came back and got into casting a little. Traveled a bit casting for

Steve Harvey and for a Lifetime show called How Clean is Your

House... then it got slow and I was helping out my sister in law's

dad at his accounting office (BORING, but his secretary quit so

helped out while they found replacement!) and then took a holiday

trip to NY for the 1st time, saw lots of shows and some snow for

once, came back to L.A. for ear surgery and now back in the job

hunt. Phew....that about sums it up (sort of). Oh! And I've turned

the big 3-0 since I've been on the board. Woohoo!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats on entering a new decade, Netalee!

I'm still here. No relapses, nothing new, same ol' same ol'. Enjoying

biting off celery sticks with my front teeth instead of side-saddle,

making perfect little circles in slices of cheese, that sort of thing.

Best regards,
