We went to cranial tech for a consult when she was 3 months old and they don't think her plagio was severe enough for a helmet. We started cranial sacral therapy 2 weeks ago and I am just curious how long it will take to see results. Does anyone have any success stories to share and if so how long was it before you saw any progress. Also how long did you continue the CST? We had a little bit of improvement in the 2 weeks before she got her STARband. So, I can't really answer your question for sure, but I would assume that change would take place faster during periods of growth spurts. With a six-month old, you're bound to have one in the next few months. While I was encouraged by her response, I was too nervous to place my total trust in the process. was older so I didn't have the time to just hope and wait. Since CST is an alternative treatment, you may want to take weekly pictures to watch for changes. How significant was the plagio? Do you think it's worse or any better 3 months later? Would it be worth another consult to make sure? Anyway, I'm not sure my answer helps at all, but I thought I'd let you know what I know.
