Guest guest
Mark My suergury was at 7:30am on Wednesday, and I was sipping water out of a cup by that evening. I was sipping very little, but I could do it. By Thursday, a drank a whole cup of water, and about a 1/2 a cup of cranberry juice. By Friday, I drank a bunch of water, one Ensure, and some apple juice. Each day I find that I can drink more and more. I don't really want much, so I have to force myself cuz I know it is important for my recovery. I have been fortunate because I have numbness, but I can feel enough of my lower lip in order to be able to sip. Once the swelling goes down a lot more, then I will be drinking all day long. Right now, it is truly exhausting just to drink an entire glass of water. > > Hi all. I am on day 4 of my recovery. Things are going pretty well > > so far.
