I too had this excruciating pain below one of my incisions (I had LAP) that

lasted a few weeks. My surgeon said it was common where the nerves were

regenerating and encountering scarring and that it would go away. It did.

That being said, do not rely on the group's advise for BIG PAIN. Always,

always, contact your surgeon immediately. Waiting can delay healing should

something be wrong. Your surgeon needs to know any problems you encounter asap

so proper intervention can be started if needed. He should be the only one to

dismiss pain as normal.
