There was no other way Don't be embarrassed, be proud that you were strong enough to do it. You and Tom Hanks, that is. I've sent many people to the dental schools. They try so hard that I think sometimes it is better than going to an experienced, but overbooked dentist. Fay
Guest guest
I'm two years post-op and noticing my teeth are chipping rather easily this last few months.... Has anyone else experienced this post WLS and what can be done about it? : Get good dental insurance. I've been in the dentist chair almost every week since February and had the same thing happen last year. Enamel is coming off my teeth and have had two root canals since wls and one tooth pulled and had a partial bridge put in. With everything else going on, I really don't need this. Have an appt on Monday and that will be my last for awhile. Yipppeeee. Regina
Guest guest
I think, not sure, that this has something to do with the malabsorption of calcium. My mom is 13 years out, has done calcium citrate since a few weeks out, has perfect teeth. My sister is about 11 or 12 years out, has never done calcium supps. has had terrible problems with her teeth and now has dentures, and she's only 29 years old.
