I did got o my initial interview with a place here that does this procedure called the Wish Center. I think everything went well. I had a complete exam from psych, to nutritional factors and about a 20 minute interview with a doctor who would preform the surgery. I felt very comfortable with all the information they gave me. Also they gave me a exercise and diet plan that I have to follow for 8 weeks. After that I'm to have a pre-op consultation to see how everything went. Well I have not been following it many are the factors. But mainly I guess is my insurance. WLS is covered but you have to be approved for it. I do not have at least 6 months of supervised diet history. Mainly because when I did want to start visitations to a dietician are not covered nor are most of the medications to try and loose weight. Any one in this group from Illinois specifically Chicago, that has Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois? Was anyone denied and then appeal it?
