Guest guest
Hi! So glad you have a doc smart enough to prescribe Cytomel for you! I had to fight my endo doc to give it to me. I felt like ca~ca on just the synthroid alone. I take it in the morning...by itself...an hour either way of all my other stuff. I can only give it an hour since I have so much to take. I'm bummed because I have all the symptoms of hypothyroid....cold, falling hair....dry skin...exhaustion...yet because my " tests " show me in the low normal range...I'm okay to them. Well hey! What's wrong with this picture? Take care CE Love ya~ Jacque > Just a couple thoughts and a question dear brave souls > > Haad tests and came up short on thyroid meds, so they are upping it. Guest guest
I'm in the same place that you are. Doc thinks I am just fine in the lower range. Gee, when will they ever learn!!! I am considering checking out a new doc. Sure hate to start over again. Been with the same doc for to many years to count. Does a bang up job in most cases. Just doesn't seem to grasp that " lower range " doesn't do it for me! I have the dry skin, ridged nails, cold & hot intolerance, tired, etc... My temp range is somewhere around 75 to 90. Good thing since Alabama gets really warm this time of the year! Drives my workers insane, LOL! We fight over the AC all the time. I only get warm when I get a chance to go to lunch and get into the oven (my car) and sunshine! I think that the low thyroid range is alot of why I can't lose anymore wt. Do the right things and it still doesn't move down. DRAT!! Love, Reba in Auburn, AL > Hi! > So glad you have a doc smart enough to prescribe Cytomel for you! Could not for the life of me figure out why I have these deep grooves in my nails...My labs are fine other than the low normal thyroid! Yeah..when WILL they learn?
