Guest guest
Hi Mendi & welcome! We've talked about this occasionally on here, but I had to mention that it's so strange that at 5'6 " and 170 pounds, you're wearing a size 10/12. I'm also 5'6 " but 153 pounds, and I wear a 10/12. It's that old body shape thing, I guess...LOL in NJ ************************ > I've been reading a few months, June 3 had me a year out from my Rny. From surgery, I'm down to 170 from 328 (I'm 5'6) - and was surprised to lose three pounds last week :I . I thought I was 'stable' until my hopeful and much anticipated panniculectomy (awaiting insurance approval. awaiting insurance to acknowledge my paperwork requesting the okay!). At any rate, I'm wearing a size 10/12 and astounded at the wonder of it all! > > I have really found this site valuable - I never got around to > mailing in a photo for the AMOS site, and that seems to make a big > difference in responses and acceptance. Guest guest
I really believe that to some extent we all have to discover what works best for each of us in becoming healthy long-term... ************************************* Mendi, You have hit the nail on the head! There is a saying on this list YMMV (Your mileage may vary!!!) We are all different, we all have different approaches to this " type " of surgery. (I say type...cause again...all our surgeries are different...even with the SAME surgeons) Not everything that works for one works for all. Viva la difference. (or how ever you spell it.
