You are such a trooper. To be hosting your father in law, and trying to handle your own stuff-- can't they use something other than steroids?

Get some MSM and start taking it-- alot of it! It will help with the pain. Make sure you get the fluids down-- and get away from all the junk food--so that you aren't adding that insult to injury. I'm sure that part of what is happening is not just the steroid withdrawal (and undoubtably you are experiencing that)-- but the steroids have sucked all the calcium from your bones-- and that makes the pain worse. If you can tolerate calcium-- make sure to get one that has calcium/magnesium and take it. You need some relief, and the muscle spasms from this mineral depletion is adding to the pain.

, I am so sorry to hear this, this disease really sucks sometimes. we've had very cold temps for awhile and that causes pain, and we have tried so many pain medications that I can't take, even vicoden is now making me sick. I so feel for you, and hope the nurse gets there soon so you can get some relief. your in my thoughts girl. Marla

,Girl, I know it's hard to deal with everything right now. Isn't it a trip how life's challenges never come one at a time? Instead, we get them in piles. I hope you get some relief soon. It sucks to have to suffer through the pain. I wish I could say more to make you feel better, but I'm at a loss. hi just a little suggestion immuran works for short period of time maybe you should suggest placquenil or another med that they use for cancer radiation treatment may help for pain maybe lyrica just suggestion
