Guest guest
Cindy, If you don't mind my asking, what made you consider revision. I, too, lost rapidly and then stopped at around 9-11 months post op. It has taken me a year and a half to go from 215 to 198. Since March I have dropped to 194.5. Now I fluctuate between 194.5 & 197. I have wondered about SLD. Have been pretty religios about what goes in my mouth. Trained for a marathon for 6 months last yr, nothing. I just stopped. I have just recently thought of revision. What made you go that route, symptoms, & would your doc cooperate or did you have to go to a new doc. Thanks, Lorraine > Initially I lost 85 lbs (from 320 to 235) and was done. Could not get below > 235lbs and maintain no matter what I did. Had the revision (banded pouch > outlet, taken to a true distal, common channel reduce to 120cms [47 " ]) and > have continued to lose since. I am down another 85lbs to 150lbs, size 10-12. > Weight loss is slower now (lose, hold, lose, hold) but that's OK I will get > to goal. Really glad I did the revision.
