Guest guest
I had some of my plates/hardware removed 6 months after the initial surgery. They removed the 2 center upper plates and the one from my chin. It was not too bad at all. I had a little post-op pain and minor swelling. Once you have been through the initial surgery it was like nothing. Try not to worry, for my it was less painful then having wisdom teeth out. a > > hey i had surgery 2 years ago on the 24th. and lately have been > having a lot of pain in my lower jaw. right where my metal plate is. > they have booked me for surgery to remove this plate. is this > normal? how serious is the surgery? and is there a lot of pain? any > info at all you could give me would be great. thank you so much
Guest guest
Why do people have plates out? What could happen that could cause a problem? I have one screw that is far out and freaks me out but i think i am going to have to live with it, as my OS says the risk of going in for that one may not be worth it (its right below my eye) > > > > hey i had surgery 2 years ago on the 24th. and lately have been > > having a lot of pain in my lower jaw. right where my metal plate > is. > > they have booked me for surgery to remove this plate. is this > > normal? how serious is the surgery? and is there a lot of pain? any > > info at all you could give me would be great. thank you so much
