Fat and tired of it

I have a freind Kim B (you can see her bio on www.duodenalswitch.com)

and I've been very impressed with her weight loss.

I am 41, 320 and tired of being fat. I am very interested in this as

an option to " permenant " weight loss and would appreciate any

comments or helpful ideas others in the same situation may have.

Steve,

Kim B has been my inspiration since I started researching WLS, her story and

Heidi's were the reason I ended up having the DS procedure. I just saw Kim's

most recent pic and she looks absolutely fantastic. Having the DS is the best

decision I have ever made for myself. I have a ways to go, but I know I'll

get there. I know how you are feeling, and I hope you end up having surgery

if that's what you decide on.

I had dinner with and Kim last week and am still amazed at how good

she looks. I can hardly recall when she was heavy. I've been doing what I

can to loose the wait, but each year, I end up 10-20 lbs heavier. I'm

nervous about the DS and the lifelong side affects (as if being fat doesn't

have side affects).

I appreciate your encouragement. I'll keep you posted on my progress and

decisions.
