Guest guest
>> Then there is the Willow Bark Extract. I don't know about this one. It supposedly works similarly to aspirin, which we aren't supposed to take. But is it the same as aspirin, or not? *** Willow bark is what original aspirin was made from, and contains the same acid as modern aspirin. I would pass on this one, pouch-wise. >> How about Guarana Extract. I know I've seen this is a lot of " natural " diet remedies, but I'm not sure what it does. Any time I see and herb that claims to boost metabolism, that's a red flag to me that it might also raise blood pressure or otherwise tinker with my ticker, and I don't play with those unless I know from medical professionals that they are all right. A certified herbalist could tell you the properties of these herbs, but not necessarily if they are safe. You might try calling a naturopath. ~~ Lyn G
