I am so NOT happy about this, I could just cry. I just don't understand.

I've heard of people maintaining...hitting a plateau...and that I can

understand. But I have GAINED two pounds this week.

I had maintained...gained slightly...once before, but after adding exercise

that seemed to be a thing of the past. I thought I had found the answer.

It isn't PMS/water weight, etc., as I had a hysterectomy a year before I had

the DS.

For those of you who are on the constipation side of things, did it slow your

weight loss? I mean, when whatever you are eating is sitting around for a

week, exactly where is it sitting, and are more calories being absorbed?

I have been taking Metamucil wafers, which are like hard dry fiber cookies,

but they fill me up so much they basically take the place of a meal.

Yesterday I bought some chewable tablets called FiberChoice. Same amount of

fiber. Has anyone else tried these? I am thinking of doubling the dose.

They say the typical dose is 2 tablets per day, but the maximum dosage is 6

tablets per day. I took four yesterday, and am thinking of keeping that up

for a few days, then moving to 6 if it doesn't help. Does anyone see any

problems with increasing the dosage?

Tom, if you are out there, you once gave me the name of a medication that was

helpful in this area. I, of course, wrote it somewhere so I would have

it...but have no idea where that might be. Please re-send. Thanks!

I know I will lose next week, I don't think this is an end to my weight loss.

But it still aggravates me to no end! So, please, a show of hands....has

anyone else showed a gain? Once? More than once?

Thanks,

Dawna
