Guest guest
Ah, nevermind. I answered my own question with a simple search. Doh! http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/BTVC-SCD/message/16140 Anyway, sounds like it's a trusted source for the most part. Very cool. > > I've seen this site mentioned a few times here in the last couple of weeks. http://www.digestivewellness.com > > All foods here are SCD legal!? Seems too good to be true. Guest guest
I have ordered from them, and they are reliable and SCD legal. They are closing for Passover, and I am not sure if they are open still, but they will be open after the holiday. I have been pleased with their products. Everything on the Digestive Wellness site is legal... but I'm suspicious of just about anything I didn't make myself. So if you use commercial goods (I exclude what they make themselves) and don't see as much progress as you would like, then consider removing anything commercially made from your diet. I'm assuming that, since the owners keep kosher, they are well aware of the problems involved with hidden ingredients. I guess I'm just paranoid. I haven't seen the letters for the foods they carry, although I assume they have them. As I say, many people like the stuff they carry and do well with it. <wry grin> I'm just old school, with " Make Your Own, Make Your Own, Make Your Own. Guest guest
I use digestivewellness all the time, love it. Great service at a reasonable price. The lady that runs it (Esther Russ) is the daughter of a woman who had/has chrones disease but beat it with SCD along with Elaine's help. There's a short info section on the site about it. Never had a problem, super fast shipping, good prices, and great service. Guest guest
Hi, I love Digestive Wellness, am echoing . In fact it is because Esther detailed for me how she uses her oven w lightbulb on to make yogurt that I now make mine the same way. This from someone who has a business selling yogurt makers. I had been interested in the Yolife Yogurt Maker: one can make varying amounts, and it comes with glass rather than plastic jars. Also one can use any jar in it, up to a half gallon. Esther and I discussed it, she now sells it. Nonetheless, she suggested that making it in the oven avoids the necessity of buying a yogurt maker. I appreciate her candor. One thing is better elsewhere in my experience. When I treat myself to baked goods, I very much prefer those from the SCD Bakery. Very close to regular baked goodies, quite yum. For other things: Digestive Wellness.
