Guest guest
I am up for a promotion and have an interview scheduled. I have had my braces on for 9 months and am probably only a few months away from surgery. The position will likely involve speaking possibly to large rooms of people. I am worried that I will start the job and in a month or so have surgery and won't be able to speak. I don't want them to send me back to where I came from as damaged goods. Can anyone tell me what speaking was like with your mouth wired shut? Were you able to speak loudly and clearly? Was speaking painful? Did you sound muffled?
