Guest guest
Doris, I don't think there is anything wrong in finding out as much as possible about what is going on with our children. The " experts " still don't know everything and information is power. The more you know about what is wrong the better armed you may be to finding a solution. Especially since every autistic child is different. One set of specific tests may be okay for one subset of autistic children but not work for a another. Dr. Goldberg has some good theories, I don't feel they fit every subset but they are good and he has had some success. Autism is still very much a mystery. I would be interested in hearing your outcome on some of these test as I am considering having my doctor explore my daughter's immune dysfunctions further. She is also not sick very much however she has very dark circles around her eyes. Have you considered asking for a mycoplasma test panel?? I am currently researching this possibility for my daughter.
