Guest guest
Hi, Has anyone experienced hyperactivity in connection with sorghum flour? My son has been having a lot of hyper episodes lately, and the only new thing we've been using lately is the Bob's Red Mill Sorghum. I know, I know, each child is different. I'm really hoping it's not the flour - I really like how it tastes and was so happy to find a new flour to use. Thanks, Debbie
Guest guest
I belive sorghum is high in phenols so that may be the reason your son is getting hyper. I've been using sorghum with all my breads and have been very happy with it, but my kids don't respond to the phenols in this flour, but they do with other highly phenolic foods. BTW, I use the sorghum flour from Twin Valley Mills and love it. Good Luck. ( & Malachi's mom)
